Review – Alan Wake

Stephen King once wrote that nightmares exist outside of logic, and there’s little fun to be had in explanations. Their antithetical to the poetry of fear. In a horror story, the victim keeps asking why, but their can be no explanation, and there shouldn’t be one… With that we begin the story of Alan Wake, the new psychological horror game from Microsoft Game Studio and Remedy.

Daily Epic – Pac-Man 30th Anniversary

Speaking of anniversaries, this week marks a milestone for one of the all-time classic arcade games, Pac-Man. Yep, the big yellow chomper himself turns 30 this weekend, and to celebrate the folks over at Google have done something beyond epic. They’ve turned their logo into a fully-playable & authentic Pac-Man game! Commentary – Final Fantasy XI, 8 Years Later & Still Going Strong!

This week, Final Fantasy XI celebrates it’s 8th anniversary. Despite it’s old age, and having been up against the unstoppable juggernaut that is World of Warcraft, FFXI is a game that has grown wiser & better with age. Some may call it a poor excuse for an MMORPG, others consider it the black sheep of the Final Fantasy franchise. Call it what you will, but for those of us that have endured with the game, it’s a part of our very lives that will live on with us long after the game has moved on.

Review – The Last Starfighter

“Greetings Starfighter. You have been recruited by the Star League, to defend the Frontier against Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada.” Let me start off this quick review by saying that The Last Starfighter is one of the all-time classic sci-fi movies that shouldn’t be missed.
